This is a neat little Chess program that plays to the strength of 1500Elo. I wish it would play a little stronger…say to maybe 1900-2000 and that would cover a lot more of the general player base. For a free app this is a perfect little chess program as is though. I will now most likely buy the full version. Also try out ChessGenius.
This is the best free chess app Ive seen. Helpful learning aids even in the free version. Love the Elo rating and the automatic difficulty adjustment. So good as a free app, that it gives me the confidence in the product to buy the full $7.99 app. Great download. Thanks!
Great free chess app. When I get better Ill get the full version...
Full version is a little pricy but worth it, the puzzles are ver good to learn chess. The interface and controls are simply perfect, I cant think of one thing I would like to add or change. Dont even think about playing this monster at the highest difficulty levels
The free version is excellent until they teach you to be a better player. Then they got you with the pay version. I feel tricked in a good way!

Some bad moments
It used o be a 5 star, but now it crashes everytime I try to open it.
The software doesnt even load!!!! Please fix before offering it...

The people that write reviews always think "they can do it better" or that "this doesnt suit their superior intellect. Give me a break - the bottom line is that 99.9% of people dont even scratch the surface of "knowing" how to play chess and this app is so good that it will suit 99.9% of the people out there just perfectly. It doesnt make errors, graphics are great and above 1100 it is pretty challenging. If you are a "chess master" this is not for you - if youre part of the leisure-average-good-pretty good at-chess crowd - then youre in great hands!
The new update wont let me open it anymore!!!!! Please fix this asap!!!
Awesome app. Until recent update it will not let me open. Im reluctant to purchase the full version for this reason. I am patiently waiting for bug fix so I can get my daily chess fix. Thanks.
